Who's Excited for Halloween?

Me!
The J's are going to spend the night even though it's a school night. But we had to promise Mother we would not stay up too late and that we would get ready for school without throwing a hissy fit (remember that Jess!). I posted this pick on my other blog, but I'm going to post it here too because I can.
We made chocolate covered marshmallows for a Halloween goodie. They were so good we only had a few left to take pictures of!

Anyone going trick or treating? I live in the middle of nowhere, so I won't be, but Mother bought enough candy to make it more fun to stay home. Plus the J's and I get to help her make a cake! And we still get to dress up. I'm going as an FBI agent. Mother made me an awesome badge. JJ is going as a hippie and Jess as a colonial girl. That was the closest thing she could find to a princess costume. She's big with princesses right now.

Exploring with Jocelyn

So, the other week Jocelyn and I decided to see what we could find out in the wilderness. We found are favorite cave and decided we needed to get to the top to climb the tree.
"We're almost to the top!" I told JJ.
"It's a long way down," JJ said.

Maybe a bit of a drop.
"I can make it," I said. "Hurry up, slowpoke."
Nothing makes JJ go faster than that. She climbed right over me and made it to the top first.

"Now how do we get down?"

My Dog Coco

It's been awhile since I've gotten to have an adventure outside, so I'm going to spread this out over a couple of blog posts. (So if you notice I'm wearing the same clothes in a bunch of pictures it's because it's the same day and not because I'm just that lazy. Which, honestly, I am, but that is another story).

To start, let me introduce one of my two Westie's. This is Coco. She's not quite as white as my other Westie, Coconut.

I'm wearing my awesome new t-shirt that Mother made it. Obviously Spike is not my dog's name. It's for my favorite character on Flashpoint. Which I am still obsessed with.

With a Westie you never know quite what kind of adventure you're going to get into. Coco loves to explore and often it is quite dangerous!

Luckily Coco got tired before I broke something.

My Sister: Nellie

I was sure I had already posted this picture, but I guess I hadn't. So here is my sister, Nellie, and the wonderful surprise she found during are "hunting" trip.

If you can identify what kind of scat that is, well, I guess, kudos to you. I personally try to stay away from it, but that kind of stuff fascinates Nellie. She also found a tiny toad, but Mother wouldn't let her play with it. It was a cute little thing, but I can't imagine letting one climb on me. That gives me the willies.

School Pictures

It's time to show off my beautiful, gorgeous school picture. Or the one where I look like a goon.
Actually I don't think it turned out too bad for a school picture. But not as cute as Jess'. I didn't realize how little I've mentioned my buddies lately. So here are their pictures as well.
I think JJ's picture turned out hilariously adorable. Her style is something else. She's been busy with swim and diving lessons. She's way better than I am now. Her dad is teaching her how to shoot (my rifle is sadly fake, JJ is the actual hunter amongst us) and she has been going dirt biking with him and her little brother.

Jess has been getting ready for soccer. I always pictured her as more of a dancer, but she loves soccer.

Anyways, I keep busy with swim and piano lessons. Not to mention the boatloads of homework I get everyday. 7th grade can really suck sometimes.

Now, please pretend this last paragraph never existed as I am about to turn into a squeally fangirl. I love Spike from Flashpoint so much! Gah! I've been begging Mother everyday to get me the DVD's. She finally cracked, but now I have to wait for her to find a good deal. Such is the drama of obsessions, I suppose. Anyone else cracking with love for random things?

More Camo Pictures: Part 2

Okay, my family is a bunch of big babies. It was too cold out (40-ish degrees), so no one wanted to get their picture taken outside. These would have looked cooler outdoors, but oh well. Here are the rest of the outfits Mother made for us.
Nellie in a simple dress.
Annie in a one-piece suit/romper.
Morgan in a play dress.
Elizabeth in a tank top and shorts.
