Babysitting

Last night I had my first adventure in babysitting a non-family member. I think it went pretty well and I got paid a boatload. Who was my lucky charge?

Jess' little sis Ella! She is the sweetest little thing, not at all moody like her sister (still love ya, Jess!). First thing we did was make dinner. Ella loves fish sticks, so into the oven those went and she helped me wash up some vegetables. After dinner we played Candy Land.

After Candy Land we played Candy Land. After that we played Candy Land. And after that... I think you get the idea. We played a lot of Candy Land. I won a grand total of one game, so apparently I suck at that game. I didn't even know that was possible. Oh, well, that highly amused Ella.

Once Ella finally had enough of the game I had a huge craving for peanut butter (I landed on Peanut Brittle every time). We had a snack of peanut butter and graham crackers and sat down to watch The Little Mermaid, Elle's favorite movie.

Afterward she got a little silly and I let her play with the camera on Mother's computer (don't tell Mother!):

 

I kind of wish I could trade one of my sisters for this one! She was asleep by the time her dad picked her up. Everything turned out well and I had a blast. I hope I'll get asked again.

Pets

I know you all have forgotten what I look like since I haven't posted pictures in awhile (crazy school, homework should be banned), so today I bring you pictures of pets (and myself).

Just in case you didn't know, they are West Highland White Terriers. Coconut is 4 and Coco is 8. Coconut is more of a family dog and Coco is mine. Or at least she only responds to me. She never listens to Mother. It's kind of funny. Of course Mother does not think so.

Jess and Tatlo

Tatlo is a big ol' wolf dog mix. He's really sweet, but he will do anything to protect Jess. I hope everyone loves this pictures, 'cause it was a pain in the butt to get. Jess and I are on speaking terms again but we don't hang out anymore. I had to hack into her dad's computer to get the picture. Just kidding...maybe.

Rebecca and Seelia

Cousin Becker's got Seelia for Christmas. She's a really cute kitty, but boy does she have a temper! She hisses at everyone. She especially dislikes Rebecca's dad and attacks his legs when he comes home in the evening.

Mac and Rex

Mac received Rex for Christmas. He is the cutest Golden Retriever puppy in the world! He is really smart, too. Mac taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and high five. He can come when called and is now learning how to stay. The only thing he hasn't gotten yet is going potty outside. But can you blame him? It's been freezing and icy outside since he was born (but spring is here now). Mac says he needs to learn very, very soon, because she is sick of picking up "presents".

Mac also has 3 horses (here mare is camera shy). Fern is a dainty Paint filly. Reed is an Appaloosa colt. Reed is just about a year old now. He's very energetic, but Mac says he is going to be a great cutting horse since he is so quick on his feet. Fern is more docile and loving. Marley, Mac's mare, is a black and white Appaloosa. Mac rides her in competition. They do barrel racing together and Mac is always the leader of the girl's division (and she often beats the boys as well).

Spring

Anyone else getting a bad case of spring fever? It was in the 50's today and muddy outside. All the snow is melting and there was a river running through my backyard. I wanted to play in it so bad, but Mother hates for my sisters and me to get dirty. So I was stuck inside wishing the ground would dry up. But of course that will mean the river will go away too.

Hurry up spring!

p.s. I really didn't have anything to post, but I posted the winner announcement on this blog instead of The Haunted Dollhouse and didn't know how to delete this one. So, yeah, I'm a total dimwit sometimes.

Interview

The gals over at Bolton Girls Travel Journal interviewed Frankie and I about our paranormal blog. The interview is up now and there will be a fun fact posted on both blogs each day that anyone can comment on for a chance to win a prize. Just thought I would let everyone know and since I haven't posted in a long time. Don't worry, I'm still alive! Though just barely. Spring break can't come soon enough!

Last Friday JJ, Kit, Mac, and myself had a sleepover (wasn't very dramatic, so I didn't post pictures). The one highlight was playing 20 questions. I'll just post some of our answers or else this would be a very wordy post!

• What TV show would you like to be on? The X-Files (it's a shame it's not on anymore, though)
• If you had boy/girl twins, what would you name them? Fox and Elle (kudos if you know where Elle came from. I'm sure everyone knows why I love Fox!)

• What is your dream pet? Border Collie named Mesquite "Skeet" (she does love her Golden Retriever, Rex, though)

My New Room

Well, technically it's my old room, but I now share it with Kit thanks to some random changes around the house. So, it is new in the sense that it is rearranged and there is different stuff in it.

My side is on the left (like you hadn't guessed from the posters). Of course, that means Kit's side is on the right. In care you are really interested, my posters are: "I Want to Believe" from The X-Files and the other is from Fringe. Kit's are: Draco Malfoy and one of Arthur from Merlin. That's Coco in her basket.

 And here is our desk and locker, which we use more for sticking posters on than storage.
